How it works
These are not fonts and not distorted letters: each style borrows real characters from other writing systems — Thai, Greek, runic Futhark, currency symbols, Canadian Aboriginal syllabics — chosen because they resemble Latin letters. That is why the result is readable at a glance but feels off.
The combining styles (Dotted, Squiggle, Arrows below, X above) keep your letters and add a single mark under or over each one — a lighter version of cursed text. aLtErNaTiNg caps is the meme style for mocking quotes.
